Azerbaijan to finance 50% of expenses for patenting inventions

Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution on the approval of the Rules for state financing of 50% of the expenses of right holders-citizens of the country for patenting and maintaining in force for three years the inventions in foreign countries through the international patent system (PCT).

Report informs that Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed the corresponding decree.

The decision will stimulate inventive activity, have a positive impact on obtaining international patents by the right holders-citizens of the country and help improve the country's position in the international ranking.
