Azerbaijan starts supplying cocoa from 2 countries

In 2023, Azerbaijan imported 750 tons of cacao powder worth $3 million, down 32% and 24%, respectively, from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 384 (-46%) tons of cacao powder from Türkiye for $1.8 million (-33%), 100.5 tons (+25%) from the Netherlands for $404,000 (+39%), 60 tons (-42%) from Russia for $190,000 (-45%), 43.2 tons (-53%) from Ivory Coast for $168,000 (-45%), and 60 tons (+3.3 times) from Indonesia for $131,000 million (+4.2 times).
Azerbaijan imported cacao powder from the US (0.1 tons worth $3,900) and Greece (0.03 tons worth $300) for the first time in 13 years (official statistics on foreign trade in open access since 2011).
