Azerbaijan starts purchasing kerosene from Thailand

In January-February 2025, Azerbaijan imported 96.4 tons of kerosene (excluding jet fuel) worth $251,000, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
This is 57% less in value and 89% less in quantity than the indicator for the same period in 2024.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased 69.2 tons of kerosene (+35 times) worth $160,500 (+15) from China, 23.2 tons (+23 times) worth $46,000 (+4 times) from South Korea, 1.5 tons (there were no supplies a year ago) worth $16,500 from the US, 1.1 tons (there were no supplies a year ago) worth $15,100 from Japan, and 0.35 tons (-10%) worth $9,200 (+5 times) from Germany.
This year, for the first time in the last 14 years (note: the official statistics on foreign trade in public use are as of 2011), a supply from Thailand (70 tons worth $500) was carried out.
