Azerbaijan starts importing hybrid cars from one more country 

Azerbaijan imported 7,070 hybrid cars worth $71.867 million in January-July 2022, respectively, up 20.3% and 97.5% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

The countries that exported hybrid cars to Azerbaijan in the reporting period:

- Japan – 6,028 cars (+8.3%) worth $40.06 million (+35.6%);

- US – 579 cars (+3.1 times) worth $16.743 million (+5.7 times);

- Germany – 123 cars (+4.1 times) worth $6.944 million (+3.6 times);

- Korea – 92 cars (+3.1 times) worth $1.567 million (+7.1 times);

- Great Britain – 20 cars (+2.2 times) worth $1.367 million (+74.5%).

For the first time in the past 11 years, Azerbaijan imported one hybrid car worth $40,000 from Italy.
