Azerbaijan starts importing cash registers from two more countries

Azerbaijan imported 64,027 cash registers worth $11.75 million in 2022, respectively, up 41% and up 6.1% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

The country imported 62,861 units of cash registers (+48%) worth $10 million (+49%) from China, 510 units (-76%) worth $1.2 million (-71%) from Russia, 283 units (+3.7 times) worth $240,400 (+4 times) from Hungary, 18 units worth $135,000 from Germany, and 152 units (+13 times) worth $88,500 (+6.2) from Taiwan.

Azerbaijan resumed cash register imports from Ukraine (1 unit worth $5,400) after two years and four months, from the US (1 unit worth $5,500) after one year and ten months, and from Germany after one year and one month.

Azerbaijan imported the product from Brazil (30 units worth $6,100) and Czechia (2 units worth $17,100 ) for the first time in 11 years (official statistics on foreign trade is publicly available until 2011).
