Azerbaijan starts exporting apples to Oman

In 2024, Azerbaijan exported 97,786 tons of apples worth $62 million, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee's data.
This is 8% more in value terms and 7% more in quantity compared to 2023.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan sold 85,239 tons (7% more than the previous year) of apples to Russia worth $54.1 million (+5%), 3,825 tons (+2.7 times) to the United Arab Emirates worth $2.5 million (+3 times), 2,389 tons (+61%) to Uzbekistan worth $2.2 million (+2.3 times), 4,269 tons (-41%) to Kazakhstan worth $1.7 million (-37%), and 817 tons (+22 times) to Qatar worth $684,000 (+15 times).
Last year, for the first time in 13 years, supplies were made to Oman (64.2 tons worth $41,000).
