An Azerbaijani-Slovak business forum, organized by the Economy Ministry, kicked off in Baku today, Report informs that the event was opened by Deputy Economy Minister Niyazi Safarov.
“We see great potential in expanding partnership between Azerbaijan and Slovakia. I am sure that the business forum creates good opportunities for partnership, and with the full use of the potential of both countries, these relations will become more meaningful and effective, increase mutual trade and investment," he said.
In his opinion, Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the development of relations with Slovakia both in a bilateral format and within the framework of cooperation with the EU.
"Currently, one of our main goals is the expansion and diversification of trade relations. Representatives of public and private structures working in the field of information technology, including telecommunications, as well as banking, trade, food industry and other spheres, take part in today's business forum. Entrepreneurs can effectively cooperate, using the available favorable conditions," said Niyazi Safarov.
