Azerbaijan sharply increases furniture exports to Türkiye

In January-June 2023, Azerbaijan exported 98,293 pieces of furniture (-8%) worth $22.6 million (+19%), Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan bought 65,602 units of furniture (-15%) worth $16.2 million (+26%) from Türkiye, 4,934 units (+58%) worth $3.11 million (+29%) from Italy, 4,934 units (+58%) worth $731,000 (+2.2%) from Belarus, 9,518 units (+17%) worth $716,000 (+17%) from Russia, and 9,257 units (-4 %) worth $519,000 ( -35 %) from China.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 8,279 pieces of furniture (-54%) worth $1.18 million (-47%).

Azerbaijan exported 783 units (-5%) of furniture worth $396,130 (+11.3 times) to Saudi Arabia, 4,770 units (-57%) worth $311,300 (-45%) to the US, 1,276 units (-65 %) worth $152,000 (-67 %) to Georgia, 176 units (-60 %) worth $145,400 (-56 %) to Kazakhstan, and 322 units (+6 times) worth $38,130 (+38 times) to Türkiye.
