Output of certain dairy products falls in Azerbaijan

In the first half of 2025, Azerbaijan produced 4,979.6 tons of cream and sour cream, marking a 2.8% drop year-on-year (YoY), Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.

During this period, cheese and cottage cheese production in the country decreased by 3.7% YoY to 26,230 tons.

As of July 1, 2025, Azerbaijan had 0.2 tons of cream and sour cream, and 77.6 tons of cheese and cottage cheese in stock.

During the first half of 2025, the value of Azerbaijan’s foodstuff production amounted to 2.628 billion manats (just over $1.546 billion), representing a 12% increase compared to the same period last year.
