Azerbaijan seeks to complete Road Map for National Renovation Program by July

Preparation of the Road Map for the National Renovation Program in Azerbaijan will be completed by July 2024, said Nargiz Baghyrly, head of the Energy Efficiency Department of Azerbaijani Energy Ministry, Report informs.

She made the statement at the second annual report meeting of the Azerbaijan Rapid Technical Assistance Facility (AZTAF) financed by the European Union (EU) and managed by the World Bank (WB).

Baghyrly noted that a number of steps have been taken to support the activity of the Energy Efficiency Fund and to prepare the Road Map for the National Renovation Program in Azerbaijan:

"Data has been gathered on public buildings, excluding those in recently liberated territories. The buildings have been categorized by type and climatic regions. Energy audits were performed on ten public buildings in Baku, Ganja, Shaki, and Gakh.”
