Azerbaijan's spending on vehicle, spare part imports up over 17%

In January-August of 2025, Azerbaijan imported vehicles and their
worth approximately $1.738 billion, Report informs, referring to the country's State Customs Committee.
This figure is 255.488 million-or 17.2%-higher than the same period last year.
Spending on vehicle and spare part imports accounted for 11.5% of Azerbaijan's total import costs over the eight-month period.
Overall, Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations worth $32.118 billion in the first eight months of 2025. Of this, $17.065 billion came from exports and $15.053 billion from imports.
