Azerbaijan’s investments in Moldova’s non-oil sector amount to nearly $10 million 

Azerbaijan has invested $9.7 million in Moldova’s non-oil sector so far, and Moldova’s investment in Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector amounted to $3.8 million, Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov said at a meeting with the representatives of Moldavian Business Circles, Report informs.

The meeting was also attended by the Prime Minister of Moldova, Natalia Gavrilița,

“24 Moldavian companies have been registered in Azerbaijan. These companies are mainly engaged in trade, transport, agriculture, and service sectors,” the deputy minister added.

Moreover, Mammadov said the trade turnover between the two countries stood at $13.5 million in January-August 2022, up four times from the previous year. At the same time, Azerbaijan’s exports to Moldova increased by about 13 times.
