Azerbaijan’s corn oil exports to UAE, Belarus soar

In January-May of 2025, Azerbaijan exported 170 tons of corn oil, valued at $326,500, marking a year-on-year increase of 77% and 72%, respectively, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan sold corn oil to:
- Georgia: 144.3 tons (+58%) worth $274,450 (+53%);
- United Arab Emirates: 19.3 tons worth $39,350 (no supply a year ago);
- Kyrgyzstan: 2.7 tons (+2.7 times) worth $5,300 (+2.2 times);
- Kazakhstan: 2.2 tons (-36%) worth $4,000 (-40%);
- Belarus: 1.45 tons (+2.6 times) worth $3,350 (+2.8 times).
Overall, Azerbaijan exported 385.73 tons of corn oil in 2024, of which 88% came from Georgia.
