Azerbaijan's bus imports from China soar

In January-October 2024, Azerbaijan imported 288 buses worth $45.6 million, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

This is 7 times higher in value and 3 times higher in quantity compared to the same period in 2023.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased buses from:

- China: 145 units (+18 times) worth $35.1 million (+31-fold);

- South Korea: 78 units (+5 times) worth $4 million (+5 times);

- Germany: 43 units (+65%) worth 2.8 million (+3 times);

- Türkiye: 15 units (-56%) worth $2.2 million (-19%);

- Spain: 6 units (+6 times) worth $1.3 million (+23 times).
