Azerbaijan revises excise rates on imported goods

Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers has introduced amendments to the "Excise Rates on Excisable Goods Imported into the Territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan," originally approved by the decree dated January 19, 2001.
According to Report, Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a new decree in this regard.
Under the document, the excise rates on certain alcoholic beverages and tobacco products have been modified. The revised rates are set to take effect 30 days after the publication of the decree.
