Azerbaijan resumes wristwatch imports from Belgium

In 2024, Azerbaijan imported 1,479,783 wristwatches, valued at $21.1 million, marking a year-on-year decline of 33% and 4%, respectively, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
In 2024, Azerbaijan imported wristwatches from:
- Switzerland: 10,513 units (-25%) worth $13.9 million (-0.2%);
- China: 1,454,916 units (-34%) worth $6.1 million (-12%);
- Italy: 391 units (+4 times) worth $317,000 (+3 times);
- Thailand: 3,188 units (-9%) worth $246,000 (-5%);
- Indonesia: 3,997 units (+14%) worth $121,000 (+14%);
Azerbaijan has resumed the import of wristwatches from Belgium (548 units worth $38,100) after a break of 9 years.
