Azerbaijan resumes vodka imports from 3 countries

Over 11 months of last year, 59,970 decaliters of vodka worth $5.573 million were imported to Azerbaijan, Report informs referring to the State Statistics Committee.
Compared to the same period last year, imports increased by 24.34% in value terms and by 16.95% in quantitative terms.
During the reporting period, 21,270 deciliters of vodka for $2.470 million were imported from Russia, 16,490 decaliters for $1.013 million from Belarus, 11,330 decaliters for $786,170 from Ukraine, 4,630 decaliters for $318,060 from Moldova, 1,070 decaliters for $209,290 from Sweden.
Compared to the same period in 2020, supplies from Russia increased by 28.19% and 29.85%, respectively, from Belarus - decreased by 26.29% and 21.1%, from Ukraine - by 4.37% and 5.11%, from Moldova - increased by 97.12% and 65.95%, from Sweden - by 33.75% and 21.59%.
After three years and nine months, deliveries from Kazakhstan resumed, after two years and three months - from Germany, after one year and ten months - from Canada. From these countries, respectively, 0,160 deciliters of vodka were purchased for $9,510, and 0.010 decaliters for $1,760 and 0.010 decaliters for $850.
