Azerbaijan resumes sand supply from Romania

In January-May of this year, Azerbaijan imported 30,915 tons (-1.7%) of sand (silica, quartz, other types of sand) worth $2.1 million (+10.3%), Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
Azerbaijan received 29,622 tons (-0.6%) worth $1.7 million (+17%) from Russia, 771 tons (+36%) worth $221,000 (+51%) from Turkiye, 101 tons worth $95,000 from the United States of America (there was no supply a year ago), 405 tons (-58%) worth $59,000 (-68%) from Iran, and 4.5 tons (-69 %) worth $30,000 (-46%) from Great Britain.
After a break of 1 year and 11 months, Azerbaijan resumed the supply of sand from Romania (0.25 tons worth $1.1 thousand).
