Azerbaijan resumes pear exports to Ukraine

In the first half of 2025, Azerbaijan exported 2,169 tons of pears, valued at $1.6 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 69% and 86%, respectively, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.
During this period, Azerbaijan sold pears to:
- Russia: 2,037 tons (+62%) worth $1.5 million (+81%);
- Kazakhstan: 81.6 tons (+3 times) worth $39,300 (+3 times);
- The United Arab Emirates: 38.8 tons worth $15,500 (no supply a year ago);
- Qatar: 8.2 tons worth $13,150 (no supply a year ago).
- Ukraine: 2.7 tons worth $2,200.
Azerbaijan has resumed pear supplies to Ukraine after a 3-year and 8-month break.
In 2024, 95% of the 9,100 tons of pears exported from Azerbaijan went to Russia.
