Azerbaijan resumes pasta exports to US

In January 2025, Azerbaijan exported 1,497 tons of pasta products (except couscous) worth $1 million, representing a 5.5-fold increase in volume and 7-fold growth in value compared to the same period last year, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.

In the specified period, Azerbaijan sold pasta products to:

- Israel: 1,258 tons worth $854,500 (no supply a year ago);

- Georgia: 194 tons (+83%) worth $119,000 (+86%);

- The United States: 22.28 tons worth $19,720;

- Libya: 21.9 tons (+40 times) worth $14,480 (+4 times).

After a 5-year and 11-month break, Azerbaijan has resumed pasta supplies to the United States.
