Azerbaijan resumes imports of trucks from two countries

In January-July 2023, Azerbaijan imported 3,794 trucks (40% more year-on-year) for $57.9 million (4.4% more YoY), Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased 2,868 units (+63%) of trucks for $24.25 million (+39%) from Germany, 363 units (-0.3%) worth $17.81 million (-1.1%) from China, 144 units (+52%) worth $3.73 million (+44%) from Japan.

Azerbaijan resumed the imports from the UK (1 unit worth $68,000) and Romania (3 units worth $14,500).
