Azerbaijan resumes imports of orange juice from another country

Azerbaijan imported 611.15 tons of orange juice worth $923,000 in January-October 2022, respectively, down 26% and 15.7% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

In the reporting period, 218 tons (+2.4 times) of orange juice worth $319,000 (+4 times) were imported from Russia, 64.1 tons (-17%) worth $169,000 (-6.7%) from Brazil, 148.3 tons (-69.4%) worth $163,000 (-69%) from Ukraine, 71.6 tons (-14.3%) worth $136,000 (-13%) from Israel, and 20 tons (-50%) worth $38,000 (-46%) from Georgia.

Supplies from Cyprus were resumed after 3.5 years with 7.4 tons of orange juice worth $5,000 purchased from this country.

In 2021, Ukraine accounted for 58.5% of the 983.2 tons of orange juice that Azerbaijan imported from 16 countries.
