Azerbaijan resumes import of mustard from Switzerland

In January-October of this year, Azerbaijan imported 107.4 tons of mustard powder and prepared mustard worth $315,000, which is 55% more in value and 34% more in quantity compared to the same period last year.

According to Report's calculations based on State Statistics Committee data, during the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 7.7 tons (+109 times) of mustard from the UK worth $90,200 (107 times more than the previous year), and from 55.4 tons (+41%) worth $77,200 (+35%) from Russia.

After a break of four years and 10 months, Azerbaijan resumed imports from Switzerland (0.1 tons worth $1,900). Out of 114 tons of mustard imported to Azerbaijan from 13 countries in 2023, Russia accounted for 51.8%.
