Azerbaijan resumes furniture exports to Kuwait

Azerbaijan exported 19,038 pieces of furniture, valued at $2.64 million in the first nine months of 2024, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistical Committee.

Data represents a 38-percent drop in the volume and a 32-percent decline in the value of exports compared to the same period last year.

In the specified period, Azerbaijan sold 1,995 pieces (+10 times) of furniture to Poland for $1 million (+10 times), 6,629 pieces (+3 times) to Georgia for $667,000 (+2.8 times), 6,499 pieces (-3.5%) to the US for $403,000 (-7 %), 2,128 pieces (+4.3 times) to Russia for worth $277,000 (+6 times), 453 pieces (-58%) to Kazakhstan for $143,400 (-38 %).

After a break of 2 years and 6 months, Azerbaijan resumed furniture supplies to Kuwait (3 pieces worth $7,000).
