Azerbaijan resumes car supplies from UAE and Poland

In 2024, Azerbaijan imported 52,826 passenger cars (with gasoline and diesel engines) worth $762 million, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

This is 24% less in value and 25% less in quantity than the 2023 figure.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan purchased 20,534 cars (-29%) worth $217.1 million (-23%) from South Korea, 5,648 cars (-24%) worth $154.3 million (-23%) from Japan, 4,381 cars (-53%) worth $84.5 million (-30%) from Germany, 8,346 cars (+17%) worth $70 million (-14%) from the US, and 1,702 cars (-41%) worth $69.4 million (-31%) from the UK.

After two years and nine months, Azerbaijan resumed car supplies from the United Arab Emirates (5 cars worth $471,000), and after two years, from Poland (8 cars worth $107,000).
