Azerbaijan reduces rice imports by 19%

In January-July of 2025, Azerbaijan imported 35,544 tons of rice, valued at $33.584 million, Report informs with reference to the country's State Customs Committee.

Compared to the corresponding period in 2024, the imports dropped by 8,419 tons or 19.1% in volume and fell by $12.332 million or 26.8% in value.

During the reporting period, spending on rice imports accounted for 0.2% of Azerbaijan's total import costs.
