Azerbaijan reduces red meat imports by over 15%

In the first half of 2025, Azerbaijan imported 22,396 tons of red meat, valued at approximately $47.2 million, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.

Compared to the corresponding period in 2024, the imports decreased by 15.3% or 4,069 tons in volume and dropped by 19.5% or just over $11.4 million in value.

During six months, red meat imports accounted for 0.4% of Azerbaijan’s overall import costs.
