Azerbaijan reduces red meat imports by 18%

In January-July of 2025, Azerbaijan imported 25,180 tons of red meat, valued at just over $55.1 million, Report informs, citing the country’s State Customs Committee.
Compared to the corresponding period in 2024, the imports decreased by 18% or 5,542 tons in volume and dropped by 19.5% or over $13.4 million in value.
During seven months, red meat imports accounted for 0.4% of Azerbaijan’s overall import costs.
