Azerbaijan more than triples exports of sunflower oil to Georgia

In January-March 2024, Azerbaijan exported 738 tons of sunflower oil worth $1.1 million, up 56% and 25%, respectively, year-on-year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 553 tons of sunflower oil (+29 %)to Iraq for $807,000 (+6%),179 tons (+4.2 times) to Georgia for $240,000 (+3 times), 3.6 tons (no imports were made a year ago) to Kyrgyzstan for $5,000, 1.6 tons (+37%) to the US for $2,100 (+1%), and 0.2 tons (-42%) to Canada for $300 (-56%).

Iraq accounted for 69.2% of the 2,379 tons of sunflower oil exports from Azerbaijan in 2023.
