Agreements on cooperation in the fields of education, justice, agriculture, culture, and sports are planned to be signed between Azerbaijan and Kuwait, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Kuwait Emil Karimov said, Report informs referring to Arab Times.
He noted that the documents will be signed within the next meeting of the joint Azerbaijani-Kuwaiti commission on cooperation, which will be held in Kuwait City.
"The investment and trade relations between the two countries do not reflect the potential for cooperation. Therefore, it is necessary to increase trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Kuwait through mutual visits of businessmen from both countries and the participation of Kuwaiti companies in large-scale construction and restoration works in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan," said the ambassador.
He also added that from January to September of this year, 20,000 tourists from Kuwait visited Azerbaijan.
