Azerbaijan invites Chinese companies to invest in liberated territories

The 10th meeting of the Azerbaijan-China Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation highlighted the vast opportunities available amid new realities emerging in Azerbaijan's liberated territories.

Report informs that the Co-Chair of the Commission, Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev, provided Chinese officials with detailed information about the modern infrastructure projects implemented in the liberated territories and future economic prospects, and invited Chinese companies to invest in those territories.

It was noted that fruitful cooperation relations have been established between Azerbaijan and China in the field of sericulture development, and this cooperation is expected to be more prominent in the restoration of the liberated territories. Thus, 130 thousand mulberry seedlings have already been brought by the partners for planting in the city of Khojaly. The project is predicted to yield successful results.
