Azerbaijan imports poultry from Russia’s Lipetsk

Russia's Lipetsk Oblast has exported 545 tons of poultry meat to Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan since the beginning of 2025 until April 4, according to Russia’s Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor), Report informs.

In total, more than 3,200 tons of meat products were shipped from Lipetsk during this period—five times more than the volume exported in the same period last year.

Among the shipments, 2,800 tons of poultry meat were sent to Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Jordan, China, Guinea, Vietnam, and the United Arab Emirates, while 433.5 tons of beef were delivered to China.

All exported products fully complied with the requirements of the importing countries. Rosselkhoznadzor specialists conducted strict laboratory inspections to ensure product quality and safety throughout the export process.
