Azerbaijan discusses cooperation with Arab Coordination Group

The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan has held discussions with a delegation from the Arab Coordination Group (ACG) on potential areas of cooperation, Report informs, citing the ministry.
The meeting brought together experts from financial institutions within the ACG, including the Islamic Development Bank Group, Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, Saudi Fund for Development, and the OPEC Fund for International Development.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that Azerbaijan has established successful partnerships with financial institutions within the Group. The delegation was briefed on the favorable business climate in Azerbaijan, as well as potential investment sectors and opportunities.
The Arab Coordination Group expressed its commitment to expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan. It was noted that hosting the Islamic Development Bank Group’s annual meetings in Azerbaijan in 2026 would be a significant step toward strengthening the partnership.
The sides also discussed opportunities to expand existing collaboration and implement state-guaranteed investment projects, with the Arab Coordination Group expressing readiness to actively participate in financing such initiatives.
