Azerbaijan and UAE plan to strengthen cooperation in third countries

Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) plan to strengthen cooperation in the Caspian region and third countries, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said in an interview with CNN Business Arabic, Report informs.
According to Jabbarov, the two countries are partners on many projects: "We are working together to contribute to energy security and diversification. We are also partnering with Masdar on renewable energy projects in Azerbaijan. Our cooperation with Masdar, ADNOC, XRG and many other companies is expanding."
Jabbarov emphasized that the energy sector is not the only area of cooperation between the two countries: "Azerbaijan and the UAE have created a joint Investment Fund. The Fund has $1 billion in capital for investments in our countries, including Central Asia and the Arab Gulf. We are expanding our successful partnership in this direction."
"We are pleased with the existing sincere friendship and warm relations between the two countries. The common heritage of our peoples, the bonds of friendship, and the will and support of the heads of state play a key role in shaping these relations. We regularly share our cooperation agreements with the UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, and other colleagues from the UAE government's economic team," the minister said.
