Azerbaijan and Italy expanding cooperation in trade and industry

Azerbaijan and Italy exchanged views on expanding cooperation in trade, industry, and other areas, Report informs.

The Economy Minister of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov held a meeting via videoconference with the Minister for Business and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso.

During the meeting, the development of economic cooperation based on friendship and strategic partnership was emphasized. It was also noted that Italy is one of Azerbaijan's largest trading partners. Many Italian companies are successfully operating in Azerbaijan in industries such as manufacturing, transport, construction, trade, services, and others. It was emphasized that there are extensive opportunities to further strengthen the economic relations.

The ministers exchanged views on expanding cooperation in trade, industry, and other areas, cooperation between business entities, and mutual investment projects.
