The Belarusian-Azerbaijani Business Forum in Minsk has yielded fruitful results, with three significant agreements signed in the spheres of tourism, joint organization of overseas exhibitions, and the supply of specific commodity items for sale at the Azerbaijan Trade House.
Report informs via BELTA that, according to Denis Meleshkin, Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Belarus, as the national exhibition operator, organizes over 30 exhibition events in foreign countries annually, including Azerbaijan. These exhibitions cover various sectors such as the food industry, petrochemicals, and more. The memorandum of cooperation signed with the Association of Exhibition Organizers of Azerbaijan is expected to further develop relations in organizing and conducting exhibition events, including joint ones.
Meleshkin stated, "We plan to organize joint exhibitions of Belarusian and Azerbaijani companies both in Belarus and Azerbaijan."
Tural Hajily, Deputy Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), announced plans to increase supplies to the Trade House in Minsk. He emphasized that all projects will be mutual, with Azerbaijani companies and relevant authorities already considering investment options in Belarus. Negotiations are underway for the organization of joint fertilizer production and the implementation of several promising projects in the agricultural sector.
