Azerbaijan aims to provide concessions, privileges based on ESG principles

The Government of Azerbaijan is aiming to provide environmental, social and governance (ESG) concessions and privileges to the public and business representatives, a sector head at the Economic Policy and Industrial Affairs Department of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration, Vusal Shikhaliyev, told the ESG Summit: Public-Private Partnerships for Sustainable Development held in Baku Wednesday, Report informs.
He noted that the implementation of ESG elements ahead of COP29 is crucial: “We are trying to create conditions for the active participation of all parties on ESG. Improving the business environment in terms of promoting ESG elements is one of the priority goals.”
