Appeals regarding unfair competition down by 70% in Azerbaijan

In January-May 2025, 25 appeals were submitted to the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President regarding cases of competition restriction through abuse of dominant position by economic entities in Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the agency.

According to the agency, this is 69.5% less compared to the same period last year.

The decrease is related to a series of educational measures conducted with market entities, as well as the strengthening of state regulation and control mechanisms in the relevant field.
