Ambassador discloses Croatian companies’ focus areas in Azerbaijan

Croatian companies are mainly interested in Azerbaijan’s IT sector, the Croatian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Branko Zebić, told reporters, Report informs.

Ambassador Zebić noted that Croatian entities have successfully implemented multiple IT projects within Azerbaijan.

He further emphasized the energy sector as another area of significant interest for Croatian businesses, which is followed by the agriculture and tourism sectors.

Tourism holds substantial importance for Croatia, contributing approximately 25 percent to its GDP. With Azerbaijan’s efforts to enhance its tourism industry, particularly in its recently liberated regions, Ambassador Zebić expressed optimism about the potential for increased collaboration between the two nations in this domain.
