Ambassador: Belarus counts on strategic partnership with Azerbaijan in light industry

There are more than 500 types of products from the Republic of Belarus on the Azerbaijani market, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Azerbaijan Dmitry Pinevich said during a business meeting of the delegation of the Bellegprom concern with representatives of the business community of Azerbaijan, Report informs.

"It is very important that among more than 500 types of Belarusian products presented on the Azerbaijani market - in a variety of areas: from industry and food to other areas - our unique products related to the light industry are already present. I believe that following the results of today's contacts, this presence will be strengthened and expanded, including through possible joint projects. We would very much like to develop a strategic partnership that would meet modern challenges. This concerns not only economic ties, but also broader strategic cooperation between our peoples and the leaders of the two countries. I am confident that the light industry should become an important part of this process," the diplomat noted.
