Afghanistan offers to host next ECO Summit

Afghanistan has offered to host the next, 18th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) leaders, Afghan Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Ghani Baradar said at the 17th summit of the organization in Azerbaijan's Khankendi, Report informs.
He noted that Afghanistan has created favorable conditions for foreign investors and called on ECO member countries to consider such a prospect.
"Foreign investors have already begun investing in the Afghan economy. That is, Afghanistan has become an attractive country for investment," he said.
Baradar proposed holding the 18th ECO summit in the Afghan capital of Kabul, which, according to him, will open a new page for cooperation between the organization's member countries.
