On September 14-15, the village of Keshku in the Goygol district will host Azerbaijan's first-ever "Raspberry Festival", Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s Agriculture Ministry.

The event, organized by the Goygol District Executive Power, is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture's Agroservice OJSC, the United Trade Union Committee, as well as the Ministry of Culture and the State Tourism Agency.

The festival aims to enhance the competitiveness of the region's tourism sector, support the development of agritourism, promote the unique features of the Goygol district and its agricultural products, and contribute to the economy through the promotion of raspberry production.

Visitors will have the opportunity to closely familiarize themselves with raspberry production, taste and purchase various raspberry varieties offered by local producers at the most affordable prices. The festival will also feature entertaining show programs for guests.

The festival area will be divided into various interactive zones, open from 10:00 (GMT+4) to 21:00 each day during the weekend. Visitors can explore the exhibition and sale fair of agricultural products, visit the raspberry farm corner, participate in various tasting events, and attend master classes, including a master class on painting with raspberries.

Guests will also have the chance to enjoy an open-air concert program and watch exemplary performances by athletes. A special camping zone will be set up on the territory. At least 3,000 people are expected to visit the festival per day.
