Azerbaijan sharply increases urea exports to 3 countries

In January-July of this year, Azerbaijan exported 136,430 tons of urea worth $35.73 million, down 32% and 71%, respectively, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan exported 51,169 tons (+72%) of urea worth $11.55 million (-21%) to Romania, 22,883 tons (+3.3 times) worth $6.27 million (+49%) to Ukraine, 19,505 tons (+32 times) worth $5.56 million (+13.4 times) to Spain, 10,145 tons (+23 times) worth $2.74 million (+8.5 times) to Italy, and 4,886 tons (no supplies a year ago) worth $1.954 million to Greece.
Some 25.5% of the 360,000 tons of urea exported from Azerbaijan (to 17 countries) in 2022 were supplied to Bulgaria, 18.1% to Romania, and 14.6% to India.
