Azerbaijan's natural honey imports from Germany soar

In January-July of this year, Azerbaijan imported 32.5 tons of natural honey worth $191,000, down 48% and 39%, respectively, from a year earlier, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan bought 17.87 tons (-16%) of the product worth $106,700 (+11.5%) from Türkiye, 8.33 tons (-72) worth $41,650 (-71.6%) from Russia, 1.82 tons (+2.8 times) worth $21,530 (+3 times) from Germany, 1.5 tons (-77.2 times) worth $8,220 (-83 %) from Spain, and 2 tons (-49%) worth $6,000 (-50%) from Iran.

Some 45.5% of the 99 tons of natural honey brought to Azerbaijan from 11 countries last year were purchased from Russia and 39.2% from Türkiye.
