Azerbaijan's earnings from cotton exports to Turkey rise sharply

In January 2022, Azerbaijan exported 10,152 tons of cotton yarn for $22.19 million, respectively, down 1.5% and up 55.6% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

In the first month of 2022, Azerbaijan exported 9,511 tons of cotton (-0.7%) for $21.1 million (+58.2%) to Turkiye and 640.36 tons (-11.8%) worth $1.1 million (+17.7%) to Iran.
