Azerbaijan’s agricultural sector grew by almost 2% in 1Q2025

In the first quarter of 2025, Azerbaijan produced agricultural products worth 1.602 billion manats ($942.3 million), 1.9% more year-on-year, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.

During this period, the value of crop production surged by 13%, reaching 91.5 million manats ($53.8 million), while livestock production rose by 1.2%, amounting to 1.510 billion manats ($888.2 million).

Over the three-month period, the sector achieved notable production figures. Thus, meat and poultry production in live weight amounted to 141,600 tons, reflecting a 1.7% increase compared to the corresponding period in 2024. Also, egg production reached 583.1 million, marking a 2% growth, while milk production slightly decreased to 502,800 tons, showing a reduction of 0.3%.
