Azerbaijan resumes berry supplies from Poland

Azerbaijan imported 33 tons of berries (raspberries, blackberries, mulberries, currants, and others), valued at $551,000 during the first 11 months of 2024, Report informs, citing the country’s State Statistical Committee.

Compared to the corresponding period in 2023, the imports dropped by 48 percent in volume, while increasing by 10 percent in value.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported berries from:

- Peru: 13.42 tons (+26%) worth $228,000 (26%);

- Morocco: 9.4 tons (+64%) worth $159,000 (+66%);

- Luxembourg: 4.5 tons (-17%) worth $75,000 (-18%);

- The Netherlands: 2.7 tons (+50%) worth $41,000 (+46%);

- Zimbabwe: 0.96 tons (+60%) worth $16,400 (+61%).

Azerbaijan has resumed supplies from Poland (0.33 tons worth $5,610) after a 2-year and 7-month break.
