Azerbaijan resumes avocado import from two countries

In 2022, Azerbaijan imported 392 tons of avocado (fresh or dried) worth $936,000.
Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee, that this is an increase of 50% in terms of value and 64% in terms of quantity.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 200 tons (+2.1 times) of avocados from Türkiye in the amount of $301,000 (2.1 times more than a year earlier), 60.23 tons (+8.9 times) worth $180,680 (+8.2 times) from Kenya, 46.86 tons (-15%) worth $141,100 (-18%) from Peru.
Azerbaijan resumed importing avocados from the Dominican Republic and Tanzania.
