Azerbaijan purchased nearly $75M worth of food through state orders in 2024

In 2024, Azerbaijan procured food products worth 127.076 million manats ($74.75 million) through state orders, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Agriculture.
The ministry noted that 7.1% of the allocated state funds were saved during the procurement process.
Over the past year, 90 purchasing organizations acquired 209 types of food products through an electronic portal, sourcing them from 73 contracted manufacturers and sellers.
The centralized procurement of food products for state orders is managed by Agrarian Procurement and Supply OJSC, under the Ministry of Agriculture.
