Azerbaijan, Pakistan discuss agricultural collaboration

Azerbaijan and Pakistan are interested in expanding cooperation in the agricultural sector, Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Sarvan Jafarov, stated, Report informs with reference to the ministry.
Jafarov made the remark during a meeting with a delegation led by Pakistan's State Minister Bilal Azhar Kayani, who came to Azerbaijan to participate in the 18th Azerbaijan International Agriculture Exhibition.
The deputy minister added that for this purpose, the existing cooperation potential is evaluated on every platform related to the agricultural sector.
He provided detailed information to the meeting participants about state support for the agricultural sector in Azerbaijan and noted that cooperation in the agricultural sector, like in all other areas between the two countries, is developing dynamically.
Bilal Azhar Kayani, in turn, stated that Pakistan is a friendly country to Azerbaijan and is interested in developing partnership relations in all spheres.
The meeting addressed Azerbaijan-Pakistan agricultural cooperation, focusing on legal frameworks, trade expansion, business relations, joint forums, technology transfer, digitalization, scientific research, and participation in exhibitions.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
